There’s nothing quite like opening a jar of your own homemade jam or pickles and tasting the fresh, vibrant flavors of the season. In this fun and hands-on 3-hour class, you’ll learn the essential techniques of safe home canning so you can confidently preserve fruits and vegetables at their peak.

Working in small teams, you’ll prepare and can two recipes — a seasonal fruit jam and a quick pickle — while learning step-by-step how to safely use water-bath canning methods. We’ll cover the tools, safety guidelines, and best practices you need to continue canning at home.
